Nathan Clark George
With much excitement we welcome our guest speaker, Nathan Clark George, to this year’s Renewing the Family Camp! Award winning singer/songwriter Nathan Clark George has been touring with his music for over a decade, including almost 5 years full-time in an RV with his family. His discography delivers compelling musical presentations of Scripture along with transparent snapshots of life. More recently Nathan has been serving as Musician at Parish Presbyterian Church in Franklin, Tennessee, with Pastor George Grant. Aside from music, Nathan likes VWs, BMW motorcycles, dabbling in philosophy, high mountain air, the wide spaces of the Dakotas, and old broken guitars.
But more importantly than all that is Nathan has been a part of our Renewing the Family Camps for years and years. Having taken a temporary hiatus from our camp as he settled into a new ministry direction in Tennessee, we’re finally getting him back! He, his wife Patsy, and his six children have become dear friends to so many of our family campers and we’re convinced that you too will love his spirit, his music, and his deep heart for the Christian family.
Homeschooled himself in the 1960′s and 70′s, Kevin Swanson and his wife, Brenda, are now homeschooling their five children. Since graduating from his homeschool and then serving as student body president of a large west coast university, he has gone on to other leadership positions in corporate management, church, and other non-profits. Kevin has 35 years of experience in the homeschooling movement and serves as the Director of Generations with Vision – a ministry he founded to strengthen homeschool families around the country. As a father who wants to leave a godly heritage for his own five children, Kevin’s passion is to strengthen and encourage the homeschooling movement all over the world, and to cast a vision for generations to come.
